Welcome to Dr. William Long Campus Library!

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 with a minor in Bilingual Education in 2009 from UTPA. I was a 5th grade teacher for 5 years. I got my Master's Degree in Library Sciences in 2016 from Sam Houston State University. 

Our library is a powerful intellectual space where students and teachers gather ideas, exchange points of view and learn together. Our library program supports a culture of literacy throughout the school community.
At our library you will:

• be able to browse the collection.
• sit, read, study or watch/listen to the various types of media available in the collection.
• conduct research on topics of your interest.
• be able to borrow books/media from the collection.

LIBRARY HOURS & LITERACY NIGHTS:

Monday - Friday 8:00-4:00 p.m.

Family Literacy Nights (by grade level)

1st Monday of the month: 4:30-5:15 p.m.
